Consultant Selection Information - Public Works
The Bureau of Public Works (BPW) now reports under the Department of Administrative Services as the Bureau of Public Works Design & Construction. BPW was part of the Department of Transportation until July 1, 2005. The Bureau remains the same in most aspects and we can still be reached at the same address and contact numbers.
NH Department of Administrative Service, Bureau of Public Works Design & Construction (BPW) projects which anticipate consultant services can be found on this website at the links below. Additionally, individual projects
on which the Department Consultant Committee has taken action, and their respective short lists are also available through the links below.
The Process.
The Bureau of Public Works Design & Construction will post (by date) projects in which consultant services are anticipated. A consultant interested in providing the services indicated on a particular project should submit
four copies of a Letter of
Interest and Qualifications (LOIQ), by the response deadline, to the
Department. The LOIQ's should be addressed to the BPW Administrator, who serves as the Chairman of the Consultant Selection Committee.
For
all services related to American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act projects, follow the process attached below to submit
your firm's interest.

The
Process of ARRA for 2009
The Department's Consultant Selection Committee will prepare a long and then short list of Consultants. Short-listed firms will be notified by the Department with a "Request For Proposal" (RFP). This is a technical RFP request only. Upon receipt and rating of these technical proposals, short- listed firms will be notified of the results and the successful firm will be asked to submit a fee proposal for negotiations.
Final contract approval is by Governor and Council action. After Governor and Council approval of the contract with the selected firm, the technical proposals of the short-listed firms will be available for review.
